3 year old Chinchilla for sale.
Comes with cage and other essential items if required. We do advise getting a bigger cage for her.
She’s very friendly even with children.
We do not feed her any fresh foods as it is not advised to.
Her diet consist of: Timothy Hay, Meadow Hay, Grass Based Chinchilla Pellets, Dried Dandelion and Dates/Raisins as a treat. All given along side fresh water.
She likes safe wooden toys to play with along with her dust bath. Chinchilla’s need something to chew on so the wooden toys help to stop her from chewing on things that aren’t appropriate.
You can handle her although Chinchilla’s prefer not to be handled too much. She is quite happy with being left alone and interacting with you through the cage.
For the warmer months, we advise getting a piece of granite/stone slab which you can place into the freezer. Once cold, we lay the granite on one level of her cage which she then likes to lie on to keep cool. Piece of granite can be provided if needs be.
