Description
I have an absolutely beautiful Staffy male puppy available for new home, born 7 January - approx 10 weeks old. He is such a great pup, very playful, loves to engage with you, nearly house trained (a couple accidents so far). Can sit and do some basic responses, loves ice cubes, sits nicely for his food and doesn't bother at the table. He responds well to "wee-wee" command, darts to the door and outside and goes to do his business without encouragement. He loves laying in the sun. He can self entertain himself with a chewy toy for ages. Sleeps in his crate over night without a peep out of him.
We have only had him a week, but my son is not gelling well with him and is becoming scared of him. It is not the puppies fault. He gets the zoomies already and is extremely playful. He is teething so bitey with everything and has got massive paws as he is yet to grow into them. My son doesn't like the sharp puppy teeth and nails and the puppy grunts he makes when he plays - it makes him scared. He will be good with kids I can tell, as he loves my son's attention, happy to nap on him, sit at his feet and take titbits but my son. Unfortunately my son is being put off by playtime when he wants to jump about. My son likes the calm time but not the play time. My son is now avoiding him and I think because my son is trying to ignore him, the pup is determined more to spend time with him. We have been trying with my son for a week but it's getting worse not better and my son is starting to hide in his room from the pup.
From an adult point of view, he is an absolute gem of a dog, he listens well, very playful, happy to do tug of war, you can take things out of his mouth, and he is nearly fully house trained. He is very inquisitive. He listens well, so I imagine he is going to be a dream to train up and to take out on walks. He loves a sofa snuggle at night.
Ideally you will have a back yard, as I have found I can chuck him out there for a good half hour now and keep an eye on him from the kitchen window and he is happy to entertain himself, whilst I do chores.
He is booked in for his second vac jab on 27th, so soon the great bit of getting out and walking can begin. We will let him go after the jab.
£800 to a good home. Priced to find a good home. You can come view him in our home S8.
Will include all we have for him, his crate, toys, food, jacket, bowls etc.
