DescriptionI'm unfortunately having to look for a new home for my boa constrictor, Santiago, as i've recently become disabled due to illness, and as a result have been left in a wheelchair. My situation means it's become nearly impossible to care for Santiago the way he deserves.
Santiago is 8ft long and very, very strong. Whilst he has never struck at me or hissed, he will need an owner that's comfortable working with such a large snake. However, i believe he would make a fantastic first-time large snake for somebody. He's placid and very tame, not head-shy at all.
I will need to see proof of setup, as Santiago's current 8ft enclosure is broken and not suitable for use. He loves free-roaming around my reptile room, or in the garden during the summer.
He has a very strong feeding response, and will eat anything from chicks, quail, rats and guinea pigs. He's never refused a meal, even when he's in shed.
No issues with shedding, and no known history of health issues.
As he's a rescue, i'm not sure of his exact ago, though i estimate he's roughly 6 years old
