Description
AVAILABLE TO ADOPT Name: Zeno Age: 3 years old Breed: mix breed Neutered: Yes Microchipped: yes EU passport: yes Location: Northamptonshire Zeno is a very sweet kind little boy who is looking for a loving forever home. He was rescued from a horrible killing station in Hungary. He was adopted around 2 months ago but sadly his family giving up on him. We looking for a home for hik who would give him time and lots of love to help him settle nicely. His current family description of Zeno: Zeno is a very loving and affectionate little man who we have grown to love but have unfortunately and gut wrenchingly found that we are unable to offer him the home he needs to thrive. He is well behaved indoors, he is intelligent having learned sit, wait and look commands and is confident with people and likes to curl up on the sofa after a walk and mostly chills! He loves belly scratches, cheese and chewing his toys. He can also be left for short periods of time without any issue and will often be happy to go to his bed and chill. We have been working with a trainer and whilst his in home behaviour is amazing, this unfortunately does not translate outdoors. He has lead reactivity where he will bark and pull towards most other dogs and has shown aggression towards smaller and nervous dogs in particular. Once he knows a dog he is generally fine with them, especially when off lead in a secure environment and needs an environment where has the space and time to learn his social skills. He will also need someone confident and strong with a lead as he can be strong for a small dog. Would be best suited to living in an area where there are plenty of walks with space to slowly build on his lead reactivity without forced interactions. He can get on with more confident dogs and would probably benefit from one who could show him the ropes as he appears to get on with other rescues in particular! We are keen that his next home is the right one as he has so much potential given the right environment. Unfortunately we live in an area where on lead interactions are unavoidable and feel he needs experienced owners who can work with him to overcome his reactivity. We looking for a committed family to love him for his lifetime. He is cute lining and affectionate. He is only small size, only around 10kg. Can you offer a loving forever home for him? Fully vaccinated, chipped and dewormed. All our dogs come with their own EU Passport. They are ready for adoption. Subject to a home check and a minimum donation of £550 To apply for this or any other Hungary Hearts Dog please visit our website www.hungaryheartsdogrescue.co.ukOr alternatively complete the form below http://hungaryheartsdogrescue.co.uk/adopt-a-dog/adoption-application-form which will trigger a homecheck.
