Meet Maggie, she is a lively 8 year old Cockapoo. We have had her from a pup, she is a beautiful little soul, with loves cuddles and lots of attention, she’s a very loyal dog.
She has always lived with another dog, however struggles sharing attention. Within the home she is very well behaved, house trained, never chewed, she’s a dream. When our walking by herself, her recall is excelllent, she loves a long wooded walk, beaches and a swim in the river, she’s a very active dog with lots of energy.
When out walking with our other dogs, she struggles. She’s is very domineering and over powering towards the others, constantly terrorising, attacking them. When she is walked 1:1 she is fine, even with new dogs she meets out and about, which is strange.
With our other dogs, She really dislikes their company and we’re struggling to manage her alongside them.
We have tried her by herself, she prefers human company and affection and thrives when she stays alone with other family. I truly believe she would better suit an active family, where she is loved, and the only dog.
Even tho she is 8, she is like an active 3 year old, she has been vet checked and fully vaccinated. The vet states 8 is relatively young for a cockapoo.
I am in no rush to rehome her, finding the right family is the upmost importance. It has been a difficult decision, but feel that it is the best decision for both the family and Maggie.
