Frankie (Francesca!) is a fun, gentle girl who is looking for a home which can make her really happy. Frankie was originally rescued as a pup from the streets of Tunisia, but has since lived in the UK, Switzerland and Kenya. She is so much fun and is very smart. Knows her words and has the best head tilt when you say Chicken or Djaj (she is bilingual!) Frankie is amazing with kittens and cats of all ages. She is also wonderful with children. Bomb proof around them. She loves chasing balls, one of her favourite words is Rugby! She also loves the car. She will think nothing of travelling for days on end in a car and will never pass up a drive to the shops. She loves walking and has hiked up mountains in switzerland but also loves napping. She is queen of naps and is just as happy napping all day than she is out walking. She used to have endless energy but now aged 7 she is so much calmer and happy to go with whatever walks come her way. She is great in the house, you often forget she is there. Whilst we have had Frankie we have fostered many cats and many dogs. She gets on better with male dogs but some of her besties have been females, she just takes a little longer getting used to them. She is a frustrated greeter and is very strong on a lead, so we tend to walk in quiet areas/big fields where we can give other dogs a wide birth.
We are only looking for a better home than we can offer Frankie due to the fact work is taking us abroad once more, to a place where we know there will be hundreds of strays needing our help. It will also be hot, and Franks doesnt really like the heat. We also feel after the past year where she did 2 long haul trips, she might actually be happier with a more stable home. Where there is more routine and she can receive more attention. She loves hugs and food and attention and deserves the best.
