We rescued a garden snail we now have as a pet. And it had eggs that have recently hatched. We do not want to release them to the wild with it being winter as they may not do very well. We are also concious of releasing them at a later date as they will be used to captivity and may also struggle. So we would love to find them homes with people who will care for them. Though they are easy to look after, they do require some knowledge such as them being asexual and being able to lay eggs even without another snail as company etc. So you can be prepared and know how best to deal with the eggs when this happens. They also still do need feeding and watering regularly, so we would prefer if people are going to get them as pets for their children, that you are ultimately prepared to be responsible for the care of them as it should be to avoid risk of them being forgotten about or unwanted.
Pets only and to people who will genuinely care for them and have correct housing and not just end up leaving them in a tub forgotten about over time please. They are super cute and ready to go whenever :)
