He is a rare China bred Tibetan mastiff, his dad & mum were both from China.
This is a very unusual advert for us to create but I’m afraid we are having to let our beloved ‘Rex’ leave us.
The main reason for this is my partner of over 30 years sadly passed away on the 13th of October 2024. This dog was his pride & joy and he absolutely loved him, he was brought as a surprise back in 2022 and he couldn’t believe what a gorgeous dog he was.
Rex has a heart of gold and is extremely sweet in nature, he has been around small children as my niece has hand fed him and he is very gentle. However because of the size of him I do not at all encourage you to allow any small children near any type of Tibetan mastiff as they are extremely large dogs.
The reason for sale is simply because I cannot look after him anymore due to my disability & my sons other commitments with work, Robert (my partner) used to walk him every day & socialise him very well as Tibetan mastiff’s should be, but I can no longer keep this regime up and therefore i am looking for a new forever home for Rex.
He would of stayed with us forever if Robert was still alive but sadly that isn’t the case, I have tried for the past 5 months to try and attempt to look after Rex through walking & field hiring but it’s taking a toll on my life to look after such a large dog while being disabled.
He would make anyone who wanted a life long friend extremely happy. His nature is one of a kind & he usually just walks around our 1/4 acre premises very happily. He is our guard dog for his looks but a very sweet boy underneath the fur.
