LEIKA was coming, now and then, together with another dog -which we think is her son- to a school, where children were feeding and playing with them. However, a narrow-minded head-teacher called the local Council who booked the dog-wardens to take the poor doggies to a kill “shelter”… A local fellow rescuer managed to postpone the dog-wardens and urged us to save TOBY and LEIKA. And so we did.
LEIKA is a small / medium size girl, weighing around 14 Kg.
She was fully vaccinated and we’ve had her spayed, too.
LEIKA is good with people and dogs.
Although she is a bit shy with unknown people, she is friendly with everybody - people and other dogs.
As well as all our dogs, she had a comprehensive (Brucella and 4Dx) set of Blood Tests, before coming to our modest Rehoming Centre ; she is a very healthy girl !
You can meet LEIKA anytime, from the 2nd of May, in our place - NG14 6NY, but we can also bring her to Peterborough area and almost anywhere else in the country.

Home-Check (even done online, at times) is mandatory.
We do NOT supply dogs to non-genuine Dog-Loving people. There are all kind out there... can’t be too careful !
You must have your own garden and no children under 10 years old to adopt LEIKA.
We do not supply work, assistance or service dogs, regardless of what noble/moral it would be !
We do not encourage breeding and we are actively involved in actions of neutering stray dogs.
Should you adopt her, LEIKA will reside as a PET in your Home and she will be well looked-after and loved !
You will also agree to keep in touch with us - so we can help with any issues.
Our preferred method of contact is over the phone or WhatsApp - as we work during the day, with limited access to emails ; it is also more expedient - we can exchange most information in one go.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent Rescue and are doing substantial efforts to save these lives. We reserve the right to ask any / different price / donation for our rescue dogs - depending on circumstances. In most cases, we are not covering the costs !
We keep in touch with all adopters - more than 500 families, so far. On request, we can obtain & provide good references from any of them.
We receive a high number of pointless messages or calls and we do not afford wasting time…
Therefore, Please, Please - NO TIMEWASTERS !
