Indigo is a lovely, friendly dog who is very playful with all the other dogs at the shelter. He loves to play fetch, and running for the ball is his favourite activity.
Indigo is an active dog and very exuberant when he first goes out, which is also very normal for a young Springer!
Indigo is very affectionate with people and loves to be around them as much as possible.
Indigo is quite greedy with food and has to eat first in his group but doesn’t fight with other dogs while eating. He only growls when there’s something left in his bowl. This should not be a problem but should be kept in mind if a resident dog has food guarding issues.
IDEAL HOME:
An active home who will give Indigo plenty of exercise and enrichment.
BACKGROUND:
Indigo was rescued from the local pound just before Christmas. Possibly he was a working dog dumped by his hunter to avoid caring for him over the festive season.

Height: 46 cm
Location: Cordoba, Spain but travelling to foster in UK shortly.

All of our dogs have an international passport (unless born in the UK) and are microchipped. They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough. All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella. All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Indigo is neutered. Please note that we will advise results and treatments upon successful application.
Adoption contract and fee, homecheck and lifetime RBU (rescue back-up) apply as standard.
