UPDATE: Due to the number of enquiries we will be putting this advert on hold.
If you have already messaged me, then do not worry, I will have your details saved.
To new families, feel free to save my details and make contact after Christmas to see if any circumstances have changed. (Individual puppies will be chosen at 5-6 weeks old to give the best chance of a perfect match when their personalities develop further.)
Welcome to our advert for our stunning litter of English Show Cocker Spaniels.
Our chosen stud has been health tested for the Kennel Club recommended DNA and health screening:
š¾ Familial Nephropathy (FN)
š¾ Acral Mutilation Syndrome (AMS)
š¾ Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-PRCD)
š¾ CLEAR BVA EYE TESTāØ
š¾ Gonioscopy EYE TEST
plus over 200 more genetic health risks, which are all 'Clear'.
Our dam has also been health tested. As a result, we know that no puppy in our litter will be āAffectedā by any of the above-listed conditions.
Health and temperament are very important to us, followed by the stunning colours we produce, which include sable and golden.
The mum of this litter is true to the stereotype for the breedāthe eternally 'happy little cocker.' She is a wonderful companion. Beautiful to look at with an amenable, cheerful disposition. She is never more pleased than when pleasing us. She is just as happy to chill and snuggle on the sofa as she is joining us on a run through the woods or playing in the garden with our son. She is highly intelligent, trainable, and adaptable.
The dad of this litter is a gorgeous dark sable with a wonderful temperament to match! A dependable family dog who lives with a young toddler and who also spends time around horses. He was a real cuddle buddy from the first time we met.
As we have been breeding service dogs since 2018, we are acutely aware of the importance of exposing our puppies to different sights, sounds, textures, and levels from an early age. We implement a week-by-week schedule where we introduce our litters to early litter training, early crate training, and early introduction to the car and new people and dogs. They have the freedom to explore and play with plenty of space indoors and outdoors.
Our Early Development Schedule has been created to support early stimulation and cognitive development in young puppies. Studies regarding early neurological stimulation in puppies have confirmed that one of the critical periods for canines to be stimulated is between 4 and 16 weeks of age. Research has shown that non-stimulated pups may become fearful of unfamiliar objects and will withdraw rather than investigate. Even well-bred puppies with superior pedigree could be more difficult to train without the correct start in these early stages.
We want an exceptional pedigree and an exceptional start in life!
We believe that by implementing the tried and tested system for training service dogs that has been developed over the last 40+ years, our new puppy families have the best chance of bringing home the perfect addition to their family. We understand the importance of raising stable, well-adjusted, and confident puppies. We want to give them a great head start in life.
Before leaving us at 8 weeks, your young pup will have been on a strict worming program. Puppies will be microchipped at 6 weeks and vet checked as close to 8 weeks as possible for your peace of mind.
Please feel free to contact us with any other questions. I am advertising this litter early to give families time to get to know us and have plenty of opportunity to follow the early weeks and plan when to view the litter. A Ā£350 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT/HOLDING FEE is required to hold your chosen puppy. We give regular updates, as well as you being able to follow the litter on our social media and private shared albums. (Photography is another hobby of mine.)
Once the puppies are over 5 weeks, you will be invited to come and view the puppies. They leave after 8 weeks with their 1st vaccination, microchipped, and a puppy pack containing:āØKennel Club papers (endorsed), vet check, puppy contract, toys, blanket, and a supply of puppy food. We are partners with Baxter & Bellaāthe online puppy training schoolāso all your puppy training can be supported, and that starts even before you bring your puppy home! We will also be creating a private group for our new puppy families to keep in touch, share experiences, and photos and organise meetups.
