Tia is a beautiful bear coat Miniature Shar Pei. There are very few miniatures in the UK. She should grow to approximately 17 inches or less so will be a medium sized dog.
She is with us as the lady who bought her has a son who is extremely allergic to her, her breeder is away for half term so has agreed to place her into foster care to be rehomed.
We have been advised that both parents live in family homes and are good natured.
Mum was seen living with other dogs and a cat.
Tia was bought up in a home with children and has clearly been very loved and well socialised as she’s a very confident puppy who is very playful and affectionate.
We are not the breeder and do not have mum, we have been advised by the team at Pets4homes that their system doesn’t give an option to not check these options even they do not apply to rescues.
She is very affectionate and playful and she needs a home with someone who understand the input that a puppy needs and can continue with her socialisation and training.
We would prefer a home with Shar Pei experience.
We will not rehome her to someone who has not owned dogs previously nor someone who has not researched the breed.
We are happy to rehome to knowledgable families with children 10 plus.
They are microchipped and vet checked. They have not been vaccinated but we can give a first vaccination if your vet confirms that they use a compatible vaccination for the second vaccine. Our vet uses Lepto 2 not Lepto 4.
All of our animals are cared for in foster homes until they find their forever homes, this gives them time to adjust if they have lived in an outdoor environment.
All of our animals come with 7 days worth of food and 5 weeks insurance from Agria Pet Insurance, as-well as lifetime Rescue Backup.
Adoption is subject to a home check and adoption contract.
In some instances an initial home check may be able to be completed via video call.
Once we have received your application someone will be in touch to discuss her and arrange a home check if you would like to proceed.
If an application is not successful on this occasion we will contact you to ask if you would like to be placed on our waiting list.
