Description
With a heavy heart, we have made the difficult decision to rehome our lovely cat, Pepsi.
While we adore Pepsi and have always given her our fullest love and attention, our other cat has always been quite territorial. After years of trying to create harmony, we believe she would be much happier in a home where she can flourish freely as the only cat in another loving household.
About Pepsi
Pepsi was born in April 2020 and is a cross between a Russian Blue and a Maine Coon. She has always been an indoor cat (with occasional supervised garden exploration) and is in excellent health, with no history of medical issues. She was spayed in June last year but had never had a litter before that. She is fed a diet primarily of wet food but also dry food and occasional treats — her favourites are freeze-dried chicken treats and Lick-e-Lix, which are a great way to bond with her!
Personality
Pepsi is a calm and timid cat. Pepsi joined our home as a kitten and was introduced slowly to our other 7-month-old kitten at the time. As a result, she had to adapt to his presence and has always been a little cautious and reserved (unless she’s hungry!). However, Pepsi’s true personality shines whenever our other cat is away (e.g. at the vet) – She becomes more affectionate, seeks attention and even enjoys sitting on laps. Seeing how much happier she is without another cat around has confirmed our belief that she would truly thrive as the only pet in the household.
She loves playing with most toys – chasing lasers and balls especially. You will often find her freely relaxing, stretched out, or rolling around on her back. She has never shown any aggression and enjoys being stroked once she gets to know you. She is of course litter trained and accustomed to being brushed and having her nails trimmed.
Health & Care
Pepsi received her initial course of vaccinations as a kitten and is also microchipped. Given that she is an indoor cat, we chose to take a natural approach and opted not to continue with annual vaccinations. However, we have always kept up with flea and worm treatments.
What’s Included:
To help make her transition as smooth as possible, she will come with some of her favourite belongings:
- Her pink cat carrier with her blanket inside
- 2 boxes of 12 sachets each of Sheba wet food (her favourite)
- 4 tins of Lily’s Kitchen wet food (which she occasionally enjoys)
- 1 tub of 100% chicken treats
- Her favourite toys
- Additional bits and bobs, such as bowls (if wanted)
- Her full vet history and documents
- She will be brushed and have her nails trimmed before collection
Rehoming Fee & Requirements
We are asking for £150 for Pepsi, as we want to ensure her new family are fully committed to her transition and continued wellbeing, and that she goes to another responsible home where she will be truly loved. We do not want to be intrusive, but we would greatly appreciate occasional updates on how she’s settling in, simply because we love her dearly and want to know she’s happy. We’re sure the right new owners wouldn’t mind keeping in touch! 😊
Pepsi is currently staying with my parents, as we have separated her from our other cat, and both of them seem to be much happier as a result. Ideally, we would love for her to go to a home where she will be the only cat and can enjoy a calm, stress-free environment with lots of love and attention.
Collection will be from Yatton, Bristol.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch—we would be more than happy to help!
