Handsome four year old Brittany, Rufo is a very active dog who needs a lot of exercise. Rufo loves playing and especially loves jumping in the water! He is an extremely affectionate dog who gets on well with people and is also good with children - however, he is very excitable and jumps up so this will need some training.
IDEAL HOME
He would love a super active family who will take him out for lots of lovely long walks and also offer breed-specific enrichment. Rufo not a submissive dog and will stand his ground with male dogs showing dominant behaviours. For this reason, Rufo would suit a home with a resident female or a relaxed male.
Weighs 16kg, 61cms high.
Coming to foster in Surrey area.
BACKGROUND
In Spain, poor Rufo was being touted around hunters and vets to see who would take him. The hunter had tried the pound but they turned him away. We were contacted by a vet that we use to see if we could squeeze one more in so we did!

All of our dogs have an international passport (unless born in the UK) and are microchipped. They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough. All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella. All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Please note that we will advise results and treatments upon successful application.
