Amber is a very loving cocker spaniel. She isn’t boisterous or bouncy, if anything she is a little reserved until she gets to know you.
We would prefer a home with someone with experience of this breed, perhaps someone who already has a spaniel as she does enjoy company.
She would fit in anywhere but we would like a home where someone has a lot of time to spend with her, maybe someone retired.
She can be left alone for a few hrs but when she first came to her foster home they did have to crate her if leaving her as she would find something to chew however we think this was down to stress as she stopped once she settled. She loves nothing more than to sit with you having a cuddle.
She is housetrained and she walks well on a lead.
She is ok with other dogs, she is in a foster home with outdoor cats and takes no notice
All of our animals are cared for in foster homes until they find their forever homes, this gives them time to adjust if they have lived in an outdoor environment.
All of our animals come with 7 days worth of food and 5 weeks insurance from Agria Pet Insurance, as-well as lifetime Rescue Backup. Microchip transfer is completed by us.
Adoption is subject to a home check and adoption contract. In some instances an initial home check may be able to be completed via video call.
Once we have received your application someone will be in touch to discuss him and arrange a home check if you would like to proceed.
If an application is not successful on this occasion we will contact you to ask if you would like to be placed on our waiting list.
