Shuggie is an intelligent, lively boy. A typical collie, he has lots of energy and absolutely adores chasing a ball. Shuggie loves the water and will seek it out at every opportunity, he's an excellent swimmer! He is very easy to train. Shuggie could share his home with one or more other dogs. He has also lived with a cat in the past.
Shuggie can occasionally be randomly reactive to other dogs when he's on the lead. Off lead he is not that interested in other dogs, especially if he has his ball.
Shuggie needs an adult only home as he is not keen on children! Shuggie has done some basic agility, which he excelled at- he's very fast and enthusiastic! He would excel at flyball. He enjoys food puzzle games and training games. He's equally happy with 2 good walks a day. Like most collies, he's a sensitive boy. He likes his own space and does not like to be disturbed when he's resting or sleeping. Shuggie travels well in the car and can be left for several hours with no problems. Providing his basic needs are met, Shuggie is an easy boy. Reason for rehoming: relocation overseas.
