She’s Spent Too Long Waiting — Now She Just Needs Someone to Choose Her
She’s been in kennels far too long. Longer than any dog should be. But somehow, her heart is still wide open.
Despite never having a home of her own, she’s one of the most loving, gentle souls you could hope to meet. She adores human company — men, women, teenagers — anyone willing to offer a kind word or a scratch behind the ears. She lives for affection. She lights up around people.
The amazing kennel staff have done everything they can to show her love and help her feel safe. They’ve worked hard to socialise her, give her playtime, and help her learn how to be part of a family. But as much as they care, it’s not the same as a real home — and she knows it. She’s ready for something more.
She’s brilliant with other dogs: playful, social, and easy-going. There’s no guarding, no food or toy aggression. Just a friendly dog with a huge heart and so much love to give. She walks on a lead and is eager to learn, but she’ll need a little help with her recall and confidence as she adjusts to life outside the kennel.
She’s in good health and full of life — a small, manageable condition doesn’t slow her down one bit and doesn’t stop her from being the affectionate, happy dog she is today.
She hasn’t been tested with cats and would be best suited to a home with children over 14, simply because she can be a bit playful and excitable.
But what matters most is this: she is desperate for a family of her own. She’s not too used to kennel life to adapt — in fact, she’s longing for the chance. A soft bed. A walk in the park. A hand reaching out, not through bars, but from the heart
We rescue dogs from kill shelters and rehome them here in the UK. Adoption fees vary depending on the urgency of the adoption.
We are Hope4Paws Uk&Spain, a Not For Profit ‘Rescue & Re-Homing Group run entirely by volunteers, who find homes for abandoned or stray dogs.
