Looking for a experienced home for this boy preferably wirehaired pointer. He needs his education continuing and someone with the experience and time to commit to him. He is a naughty teenager at the moment. He is housetrained but he is going through a chewing phase. He has not been crated but is happy to be left for roughly three hours a day without any noise from him if he has lots to entertain him. Interactive toy, Kong etc.
He lives happily with my old girl dog but I feel he would be best with a calm female dog for company not a male as he is entire.
His lead work needs work as he pulls and is slightly reactive to other dogs. He needs off lead socialisation. He is friendly with people and other dogs but would not trust him with small furries or cats due to the nature of the breed.
He is a lovely Big dog and I am doing the best for him rehoming him at this young stage. My health has declined and I want him to go on and live a fulfilling life. I. Determined to find him the right home and he will not go to just anybody.
He needs a ACTIVE home not just a ball chucked around the park. He needs to be out and about using his nose. He has been on the grouse moors and was shot over and never flinched. Very boisterous but friendly with other dogs.
Microchipped, wormed, deflead, vet checked etc
