Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am searching for a new home for my B&G macaw.
Im seeking an experienced home only for her as she deserves someone with the knowledge to provide her a good life and is aware of how demanding keeping a large parrot is
She is around three and a half years old. She has a massive personality, hand tame, speaking and loves attention, wanting to be around people all the time and included in activities.
When going to handle her, she does sometimes bluff and though shes never bit, a confident handler is needed.
She spends all day out of her cage with free roam around the house. She prefers walking and climbing as she is not a confident flyer, which i’m hoping can be improved upon in her new home.
She is fine with other animals and loves interacting with dogs with supervision however, I have not kept her with another bird.
She is not a fussy eater and will try anything. She is currently fed on a diet of zupreem pellets, parrot mix and fresh fruit and veg. She loves nuts as a treat especially brazil and walnuts.
She can come with her cage, however as she only sleeps in it, it is small so she ideally needs a bigger upgrade.
