Please bare with me as I have had a lot of messages about coconut!
(The birth date is wrong - for some reason you have to go back by month so I do not have time to go back 8 years..)
This so Coconut! He’s a feisty boy he’s a lot of fun.
I took him in when a rescue contacted me because they couldn’t take him as they were full.
He needed a beak trim and a better diet and now he’s very healthy. I’ve had him for a year as I love him so much.
But I need the room so I can help more reptiles!
On very hot days, he goes outside and has spent time with my other tortoises before out there, however, he always ends up trying to bite them, so he 100% needs to be on his own.
He will be going to a good, forever home only.
He needs a minimum 5ft x 2ft tortoise table. He can’t go in a viv as they’re not safe for tortoises.
He needs a thermostat, a heat bulb and a 14% T5 UVB tube bulb.
They eat safe weeds and his species shouldn’t be eating veg and fruit. There are some supermarket leaves that can be used in emergencies / in winter as well as some good small business dried food. Pellets are generally not good for them.
They need additional calcium in their diet multiple days a week.
Too soil is the safest substrate.
