When lovely Lola was surrendered by her family, (after being rehomed by a UK rescue partner we used to work with), she was a complete wreck and scared of her own shadow. After decompressing for a while, we started to slowly work with her to build up her confidence around people and other dogs.
It has been a slow process, but Lola is now becoming a confident dog again, enjoying her walks and being gently fussed.
She is fine with traffic on her walks, as we need to walk 100m along a busy main road to reach the lovely forest where we walk her. Buses, lorries, bikes, etc do not seem to worry her and she walks beautifully on the lead.
She can still be a little shy of people when first meeting them, but it doesn’t take her long to warm to you. We feel she is now ready to find her forever home. She needs a quiet household with no young children and we feel she would be better as an only dog or possibly with another calm and confident dog, although she can be choosy as to which dogs she likes, but has walked with another dog without any issues.

ADOPTION CRITERIA - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
❇️ Minimum age for adopters is 25
❇️ A successful home check is required
❇️ The adoption donation is £300
❇️ We do not rehome our dogs in flats/apartments unless ground floor with own private garden
❇️ No cats
❇️ Adult only experienced home required
❇️ A fully secure garden with at least 6’ fences/boundaries is required
❇️ If working, no more than 4 hours absence at any one time.
