Zoe is a 7 year old terrier cross looking for a new home (she's 16kg). She is an affectionate girl, who just wants to be her humans' best friend. Ideally, Zoe would need to be an only dog. She could live with dog-savvy children.
Sadly, Zoe's guardians are making the very tough decision to rehome her. Zoe's relationship with the other resident dog has become very hostile, and they are having to be kept apart in their home. There seems to be no other choice but to separate them on a more permanent basis, however incredibly sad this is for Zoe's family.
Zoe is an amazing dog and will make a wonderfully loving, gentle, and fun companion for the right family. She walks well on the lead, and still enjoys being active. Her recall is extremely good, unless she sees a pheasant and her prey drive kicks in... oops!
When travelling, Zoe is good in the car. Plus she is well behaved at the vets and groomers. Her medical notes are clear of issues and all her vaccinations are up to date.
At home she loves a cuddle on the sofa with her humans - she tries to melt herself into you for some love. Zoe has been left alone for 3-5 hours, with no issues.
We think that Zoe is a lovely girl, but we need to help her out of the stressful environment she is in. Zoe can be a little unsure of new people at first, and so she might need a short while to know you're not a threat. However, after that, make room for her on the sofa next to you!
