Love4Dogs Rescue is a non-profit organisation founded in 2017, dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for dogs and cats rescued from the streets of Romania and Bosnia, as well as those saved from challenging conditions in public and kill shelters. We also help dogs and cats already in the UK.
Homecheck and adoption fee apply. Full rescue back up. Meet and greets will be required, so please do note location.
ELA – MALTESE MIX FEMALE, APPROXIMATELY 3 YEARS OLD
Ela is a lively and playful dog who came from the UK with her kennel mate, Zuzi. Both girls are now in foster care, where their distinct personalities are shining through.
Ela is curious and full of energy, always ready to explore. She can be opportunistic around food, so clear boundaries are needed during mealtimes. While she enjoys cuddles, she prefers them on her own terms. Ela is very playful and will happily initiate play with other dogs, even those larger than her.
Ela thrives on activity and mental stimulation due to her independent nature and energetic personality.
Ela and Zuzi are very dog-oriented and will need to live with at least one other dog. While preference will be given to adopters who can take both girls, they can also be adopted separately into homes with other dogs. Ela loves playing, often engaging in spirited wrestling matches with her canine friends.
In their foster home, Ela and Zuzi are house-trained, sleep in the bedroom on the bed, and look forward to their bedtime chew sticks. They both get excited and vocal at mealtimes, as do the other dogs in the household.
