Ted is a nearly 3 year old apricot toy poodle. He is a lovely gentle little dog who loves to run about on the beach or the woods and loves to play with his ball. He has excellent recall when off the lead and he is good with other dogs.
I am rehoming Ted for a couple of reasons, the main reason is that he is not good with cats. We have two cats and I have tried for a long time to train him to live with them but this has not been possible. He chases and barks at cats so will need to go to a home that does not have cats.
The other reason I would like to rehome him is because he is extremely reactive when walking on a lead. He will pull, bark and howl when he sees another dog or cat when he is on the lead. This causes problems when walking him with my other dogs and I am just unable to do separate walks for them due to family and work commitments. He would require training for his reactivity or would suit someone who lives near the beach, large park or woods to walk him off lead. Although he is reactive he is not at all aggressive.
He would be suitable to live with another dog, or someone who is home a lot of the time. He is a loving, cuddly little dog who will need an understanding and patient owner.
