English Springer Spaniel 3.5 years old (i put he was born in 2020 on the ad by accident but now cant change it born july 2021, he is the softest dog ever at home and loves a good cuddle on the sofa, he just wants to please his owner. We rehomed him at 6 months old and we are not really sure what he went through before but he is a thinker and a bit of a worrier.
The good bits
He is well mannered, lives with other dogs and cats (does chase other cats though but not ours but fine with our dogs), gives the best cuddles in the world. Loves nothing better than a muddy walks with a river such as woods, or beach walk. Comes back when you call him off the lead. Housetrained & doesn't chew anything. Up to date with vaccinations. Such a sweet natured boy in the house and like I said just wants all the love he can be given. Isn't a barker either.
Bad bits
Due to his previous home he has always been anxious and since we had him neutered this intensified and turned into going for other dogs on walks, not all but some and I cant figure out what the pattern is. It isn't just male dogs some female but it isn't all the time.
I have 4 spaniels so I am thinking if he was an only dog with someone around a lot more and can focus just on him that he may calm down with time hence the ad.
All homes will be vetted and it won't be a quick rehome without making sure it is right for all. Lots of talks and making sure you understand the situation before he lives with you, i am hoping he wil relax more being an only dog although 1 other dog may be fine if he gets on with them. You must have time to give him and patience as this isnt a quick fix.
I only want the best or else we will keep him with us . Please message for more info. Please no nasty messages we are trying to do what is right for him. I do not want him going to a rescue as his anxiety will triple.
