Dodger is looking for home with someone who will have lots of time to spend with him. He came to us very nervous and underweight. He is a very loving boy who has quickly bonded with his foster mum.
He is slowly gaining weight but is always looking for food, as such if he is given the opportunity he will take from work surfaces or tables if left in the kitchen alone.
He is so affectionate, we feel he would be best suited to someone without children as although he has previously lived with children he is very nervous when meeting new people especially in the house. He has improved greatly in his short time with us but at present a calm and quiet home would suit him best.
Outside he is much less apprehensive, he really enjoys going for a walk and is good on a lead. He is very friendly towards other dogs he meets and also a lot braver with people who stop to say hello.
He would chase a cat given the opportunity it would happily live with another dog.
Whoever adopts him and shows him kindness he will repay by being a devoted and loyal friend
He is neutered and housetrained. He has been crate trained
All of our animals come with 7 days worth of food and 5 weeks insurance from Agria Pet Insurance, as-well as lifetime Rescue Backup. Microchip transfer is completed by us.
Adoption is subject to a home check also nd adoption contract. In some instances an initial home check may be able to be completed via video call.
Once we have received your application someone will be in touch to discuss him and arrange a home check if you would like to proceed.
If an application is not successful on this occasion we will contact you to ask if you would like to be placed on our waiting list.
