Hi All,
I am reaching out for help with finding a home for our lovely Phantom. My Mum is having to move out of her home and because of this we are having to find somewhere else for Phantom to spend his retirement. Sadly me and my siblings all live in cities and cannot accommodate or care for him as required, we are devastated to let him go.
Our lovely boy is very kind and mild mannered, he is a couch potato and sleeps for a lot of the day. As he is 14 he only requires a small amount of exercise before he is very tired. This makes him very low maintenance. Phantom is house trained and is okay with being left on his own.
We have been unable to give him to any rescue centers due to some behavioral issues he has. He has always had trouble with other dogs, often getting into scraps if approached. He and my mum live rurally now so it is easy for her to avoid dogs with him, he would need to live in a pet free home. I believe that with the right care and rehabilitation he would be able to overcome this.
I am hoping that someone will be able to provide us with a miracle as we do not want to go down the route of euthanasia. This is slowly looking like it may happen and we are gutted.
