These are beautiful little birds, friendly, and used to being handled. Totally off heat, but in a warm shed. Running out when the sun is shining, but always locked in at night, because of cold and predators. They are eating well, still on chick crumbs, as Pekins have tiny beaks.
Pekins are happy, friendly little birds, who will live quite happily as family pets, and don't do too much damage to the garden as they have feathered feet. They need a warm coop, and ad lib age suitable feed. A few treats like sunflower hearts, or a small amount of split maize soon brings them running.
