Due to family illness and me constantly travelling I’m finding myself away from home so much more. This means my lovely boys are not getting as much attention as they should and I have to rely on others to feed and clean them whilst we are gone. If I could put little leads on them and take them with me I would!
They are beautiful boys and deserve a home where they get the cuddles and interaction they used to.
They love a lap cuddle and chocolate (black skinny) will happily fall asleep on your lap. They are used to noise and have been used to a cat and dogs.
I don’t want anything for them but I have a lovely 2 x 4 C & C cage that they are used to with a lid and on a stand. I am happy for them to go in this but would like a small amount for the cage.
Please note that skinny pigs can only live indoors and only have fleece blankets as sawdust and wood shavings would irritate their skin. They eat twice a day as they need to keep warm due to being bald and as a result of eating so much they poo more than hairy guinea pigs. I sweep them out every morning and every evening and change the fleece in their sleeping area every day and a full clean once a week.
They have to be kept warm and away from a draft. Fleece covers can be washed so they actually don’t cost much to keep other than a good supply of hay, fresh veggies and a guinea pig specific nugget.
Both boys are nearly 3 years old one born at the end of August 2022 and the other the start of September 2022.
They must be homed together and are not castrated so can’t go in with females or other boars.
