Lovely male golden Cocker Spaniel. Around 18 months old, half show half working cocker and he has been neutered.
Very friendly boy, loves cuddles and a fuss and enjoys long walks. He's good with other dogs and loves to play but would prefer to be the only dog in the home. We have no idea how he is with cats or other small furries.
He can live in our out, fully kennel and crate trained, no accidents in the house.
He travels well and is very quiet in the car. He has good basic commands already, good off lead but does pull on lead. He is due his booster but everything else is up to date. No medical issues.
We have been told from his previous home he will resource guard bones or any other long lasting, tasty chewy treats. We don't give these to our working dogs and we have had zero issues with this. He will happily take a treat from your hand and no problems with giving him his food bowl either. You can take toys from his mouth and he will also swap any item for a treat.
His ideal home would be adult only or teenagers and older. He loves other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog in the home. He'd love someone to take him long walks and give lots of fuss. He travels so could on holidays with his new family. He has also been well socialised so can go to cafes or garden centres.
Unfortunately he doesn't have the drive or focus we require for a working dog but will make a fabulous pet.
