Description
This is Max. I’ve currently got Max as a result of coming across him while I was at work, he’d been abandoned by his previous owner. Our intention was only ever to foster and look to re-home him. He’s between 4 and 5 months, has the loveliest temperament and no behavioural issues. He’s full of confidence and has already nailed sit, down and recall. He’s lovely with our kid and existing dog too. My wife and I have a 3 year old GSD cross and a 1 year old, we both work full time but don’t have the time or money to to invest in Max which is devastating, otherwise we’d keep him. He needs someone who’s home for most or all of the day, has experience with the breed and the time to invest in his training. Max will be the golden boy for the right owner. He’s not yet nailed toilet training, he still goes to the toilet in the house if he’s left for more than a few hours. As most puppy's, he’s quite destructive of items he’s left with (he’s gnawed through our dog bed and a towel just today). He’s also been caught digging our grass up once or twice. These are all things our girl did as a pup but doesn’t do it anymore as a result of training. Max is a bit underweight post abandonment but is putting on weight slowly but surely so will still need fattening up a bit. As a result of his lack of food before we had him, he’s a bit greedy as to be expected. We’ve taken him to our vets for a health check and flea and worm treatment. Vet was happy with his condition and had no concerns. He doesn’t have a microchip and we don’t know his vaccination status. As a GSD puppy , I rightly or wrongly anticipate there will be a lot of interest in Max, as such I’ve priced him being re-homed to recoup some of the costs we’ve incurred since adopting him and to avoid being inundated by people who just fancy getting a young pup for free. If anyone shows interest, I’d appreciate seeing some sort of proof or evidence that he won’t be locked in a house for 8 hours a day, will be trained and adored. I’ve had him for 2 weeks and already adore him. It will be very difficult to let him go. Please feel free to message if you have any questions. Cheers, Dan
