It is with very heavy heart that we are looking to rehome our cat, Alan.
Alan is 8 years old, and we have had him since he was a kitten. When settled, Alan is an extremely loving cat who likes to sleep on your lap or the end of your bed, have plenty of cuddles and play with his toys. He truly is an adorable cat when relaxed.
However, since we had children, Alan has struggled to adjust and, despite all our attempts to make adjustments for him, he is unhappy and this is why we are looking to rehome him. We are looking for someone with experience with cats, and without any children or other pets. He struggles with strangers and children so it is imperative that the house he goes to is aware of that.
At the moment, Alan is an indoor cat and has always been so we believe it would be better for him to stay indoors. He enjoys lying in the sunshine on our balcony and has never tried to escape.
