Badger is a wonderful boy but sadly he needs to be the only pet in the home. We have fostered him for a year now after sadly his last human passed away. We would love to keep him but he does like to bully our cat and smaller dog. He gets on very well with other dogs outside the home and enjoys playing when on walks but in the home he can be quite territorial due to him always being the only pet previously. He loves running off lead but as this is new to him he can be naughty with recall so he has an apple chip on his collar in case he doesn’t come back. We only let him off in the woods he knows as he doesn’t disappear there. Badger was originally rescued from Greece at 6 months, his last owner had him for just under 6 years. Badger is a great companion dog and is especially affectionate to older males human's. He is good with children but due to his territorial nature we feel he would be better in a home without young children. He has an injured toe, it looks like something has wrapped round it and cut the circulation off, we were told he had this since he was rescued at 6 months old and doesn’t seem to cause him any concern
We want someone that can give him the time and love he deserves. He loves a pub and will refuse to walk past one without going in so definitely a pub dog!
