LEGEND is a good natured, easy, child/disabled friendly, up-to-date, ca. 11hh MINI-COB GELDING age 3 1/2 with long Barbie mane kids often just love.
To make lovely easy kids lead rein, riding pony or therapy pony project.
Of course can make or double up as lovely pet &/or companion too.
Please, no producers/dealers. Should
be an easy enough DIY project to go straight to a kind family, petting zoo, community farm, therapy centre, small party pony business or animal focussed SEN school.
Great if big family, home school family & family affected by autism but not essential.
Sweet pony - was never coltish even next to mares in season.
Been gelded/castrated to be on the safe side.
Been good with kids, young people & the disabled.
Been thro' isolation/observation period & vet checks & doing good.
Came starved/neglected but no sign of sickness nor of laminitis, notable injuries, asthma, sweet itch, lumps or bumps.
Was friendly from the start.
Microchipped & passported here.
Been gelded, wormed & Vaccinated with 1st & 2nd Flue & Tetanus.
Feet trimmed every six weeks & been OK for vet, farrier & trainer.
Happy to come when called in big field & follows us around.
A delight to hang out with, bond with & work with.
Still learning but lovely for kids to walk out alone or in company.
Not bit or kicked & not dragged, reared or bucked when walked
Been fine with metal barn doors banging, leaf blowers, rumbling hay trolleys, puddles, hens, kids, cars etc.
Walked regularly along & across busy main road & been fine..
Quick & easy to load & good to travel & take to places like the beach.
Good to lead, tie, brush, wash, worm, pleat, clip, rug up & dress up etc.
Have not yet been tacked or backed as we wait till they are four.
When the time comes likely be easy for family to do themselves.
Fairly novice family could may just ask someone on yard to help them.
Loved but not spoiled, hand fed or given treats to avoid vice.
Happy & used to live in or out & been good with other horses..
Open to viewing/vetting, not for profit & honest advise given.
Any money goes to help other rescues.
