Description
LEGEND A rising 3 year old, friendly, all up to date, approx. 11hh, mini-cob colt/rescue pony with lovely long mane, who will follow you around the field & loves it if volunteers brush & pleat his mane. Came in a seriously underweight, dirty, neglected state, but no sign of sickness, laminitis, injuries, asthma or other serious health conditions. Weight gain steady but not rushed. Still needs more grass - if someone needs a lawn mower but getting there. Would love a human 'mummy, teenager' or family to fuss over him. Had vet checks & been through isolation/observation period. Had all the initial TLC. So grateful even just for grass/hay. Microchipped & passported. Vaccinated 1st & 2nd Flue & Tetanus. Well wormed. Feet trimmed by farrier every 6 weeks. Age estimated by vet. Been fine for vet & farrier. Taming & training ongoing. Been easy to catch, walk, tie up, brush, rug, clip, pleat, load & travel. Used to crossing the big main road. Loves young/disabled people. Still a little nervous with new people, but soon comes around. Happy to live in or out. Gets on well on with other ponies. Not been coltish or aggressive. Can be gelded come October - our vet charges £250-£500 per pony. A cheap castration clinic might be another option. Just such a fun, adorable little cob. Once filled out will be eye catching. A year or so will soon fly by & he will be four & able to be backed. My daughter will be happy to stay in touch & give tips etc. Re-homing fee is £900, as seen. Not for profit. Full ownership, passport & signed receipt given once paid for in full. Won't cover what has been spent but will help save others like him. Open to viewing & vetting. Honest advise given. Can hold till the first of September (payday) for a deposit. Can do cost price transport. Happy to give a quote. Feel free to tell us more & to book a visit to meet him/check him out. Just be warned he will likely steal your heart like he stole ours. x
