**Please take the time to read my ad thoroughly before enquiring as this is hard enough**
Millie is a 2 year old Lurcher, DOB 24/10/2022. Mother is a Husky and father is Saluki x Whippet. I'm her breeder and owner.
About Millie;
Millie will be one of the sweetest dogs you’ll meet, and has lovely goofy chipper demeanour. Well behaved indoors, I really don’t have any complaints, she’s a pleasure to own. Millie is pretty simple and loves chew toys, walks and coming home to a comfy blanket on the sofa to nest in. She likes her crate.
Millie does need some Training on the lead and Socialization. She is sensitive and can be skittish at times (Whippet Trait), and will need to be on a high protein GF diet.
Minimal Requirements for Prospective Owners;
- Owner experienced with Sighthound and/or Working Breeds of similar Temperament.
- Owner has experience or sufficent amount of knowledge on Separation Anxiety, and able to help Train out this behaviour. Millie has mild separation anxiety (crying, sometimes howls).
- Owner MUST be able to do Meet & Greets with Millie to ensure you are a good match. I DO NOT drive so I am unable to come to you.
- Access to outdoor space e.g. garden, shared garden, nearby green space
- Homes with Children OVER 8 years old (may be flexible if children are dog savvy but that does mean it’ll take longer for introductions).
Although this is not a complete requirement, Millie would be best suited to a home with another confident dog to learn, play and cuddle with. She comes off a little excited at first but quickly learns boundaries.
Millie is NOT cat tested, but seems to exhibit very low Prey Drive (Chases, but gets bored and does not try to bite). Millie is not Spayed yet and not suitable for Breeding. She will require Spaying.
This is a forced rehome due to illness and other home circumstances but still want to ensure she is placed in the ideal home though time is running out to find her one.
If you don’t meet the requirements, please don’t apply.
Millie will leave with some necessities and lifetime support from me. The new owners will need to be willing to sign a Sales Contract to ensure the dog's well-being (i.e., returns, neutering, yearly updates).
I can't fit everything I need in this small ad, but I'm happy to answer any questions and provide more details.
An application must be filled out for serious enquiries only (nothing scary, just questions that will save us some time).
This is one of the hardest decisions I've had to make, and I'm making it for the dog's well-being. New owners must be okay with contacting me and providing updates.
Please Message through the chat function or text on your first enquiry. I don’t allow viewings until I’ve gotten to know the potential furniture owner. Thank you.
