Our little speed train Duffy is doing well in foster and learning not everything has to be done in a rush!! She is a very loving girl once she gets to know you 🥰
Duffy has been returned after 4 years in a home with her own routine so understandably the new routine was a bit scary for her at first. She is wary of new people and change but introduced slowly she seems to be managing well (especially if you have snacks)!
With gentle persuasion, space to make her decisions and treats she has been interacting with people within the home after a very short space of time, including responding to visitor commands, which is fantastic!
Duffy lacks confidence meeting new dogs and her first instinct is to protect her space. With patience and trust building this is massively improving although toys and treats can be triggers for her.
She really is a lovely girl who came to us extremely anxious , with time and some work she is calming down and showing us what a lovely girl she is - it’s such a joy to see!
