This is not an easy decision, it’s one I’ve tried everything to avoid but unfortunately I have to do what is right for Summer. I have tried everything but ultimately to keep Summer would be selfish on my part.
Summer is a three year old beautiful girl who I bought for breeding from Angledust bengals, she had one litter at age one of one kitten.
Unfortunately she was diagnosed with HCM at age 2 after initially an unequivocal screening 6 months prior, due to this I spayed her immediately.
She has so far not had any symptoms or issues but I can’t rule this out in the future. Monitoring would be a good idea and discussing with vet. At her latest vaccination the vet couldn’t even hear so much as murmur and said she was in very good health. All her vet records will be transferred to new owners vets.
Summer also had a horrific break in her back left leg before she was one. I can only still guess that she fell off the banister as it happened whilst I was at work. She underwent specialist surgery at Kentdale veterinary cenrtre where she had a big plate and screws attached. Summer recovered very well and has had no issues since.
She has a beautiful laid back nature and loves to play with da bird toy. She loves the cazami cat wheel and to sit in our catio or a window watching birds.
She will have cuddles and love but it will take a little time for her to trust you but once she does she will absolutely let you know when she wants them. Summer loves the donut beds to sleep in and do her happy feet on and she is not a demanding bengal or vocal girl.
Unfortunately Summer has started to show signs of stress and is over grooming to the point her tummy is pretty bald and one of her back legs. I think she is just not suited for a busy household, she would suit a calm house with maybe a very laid back non dominant cat as she does snuggle in with one of my boys or a single cat household.
Summer will make such a wonderful addition to the right family and she so deserves the right family for her.
She eats Purrform rabbit, KatKin and she loves docs.
