Description

Very sweet rising 3 gelding with rare champagne colour (dun cream gene with champagne gene to make pale golden and chocolate rather than gold and black) including pale dorsal stripe and zebra stripes on forelegs in the summer. Pedigree details available on request. Currently taller and chunkier than images but also in his winter woolies! Learned basics including leading, tying, loose schools beautifully, comes to call, loads and travels well, stays on his own, walks through water and over noisy things like tarp, enjoys a groom and is great with children, dogs, chickens, goats, cats, tractors, cars and other horses moving about including at speed. Respects electric fencing as long as it’s on and is learning to be lead from horseback. Still green and not 100% holding his feet up for long yet but I’ve spent a year handling this young boy with my children and he’s an absolute star. Has shown an interest in jumping loose (I don’t ask him to because of his age but if there’s a jump up he’ll go for it sometimes) and is being asked to move around or back up from a hand signal which he does easily. Really forward active walk, just hesitates sometimes due to being young and green. The longer I keep him and train him professionally, the more I’ll be asking for this exceptional youngster who will excel in any sphere - and turn heads with his golden coat and unusual markings! I’ll be training him with natural and English methods and if he’s still with me in a year I’ll begin conditioning him for trail riding and doing soft natural horseman style schooling (leg yield etc). Writing this I can’t believe I’m selling him but that was always the plan and we have too many children and too much work on to keep Aslan if we can find him his forever home sooner!
