Description

I'm writing this with a heavy heart but unfortunately I need to rehome my olde english bulldoggee called Lady. Lady is 3 and a half (Almost 4) Year old olde english bulldoggee and she is the most perfect companion. i got lady around 5 months ago however i can no longer keep her due to a relationship breakdown and her not getting on with the family dog in my new accommodation. All Lady wants to do is snuggle up next to someone and have all of the cuddles and attention. She loves nothing more than sitting right next to you on the sofa and she loves to sleep next to someone at night. Lady doesn't know what personal space is 😆 She loves nothing more than to sleep on a bed all day and follow you around the house. She loves a long walk and can walk for a few hours without getting tired. She loves to go outside and explore but needs a coat on when it's chilly outside! She has so much love to give and needs someone who will be with her for most of the day but also give her a fair amount of activity. She can be very clingy and is extremely loyal. She will always paw you for more fusses and loves a belly rub. She's calm around adults and children of all ages however she just gets a tad excited around younger ones. She's brilliant with my nieces who range from 5-12. She is NOT good with cats as she will chase them and corner them as she thinks they are plush toys. I wouldn't recommend her to go with any other dogs as she doesn't get on with male dogs at all and is very hit and miss with female dogs so she'd suit being the only pet. Lady also suffers from some allergies, she was diagnosed by the vet with them and was put on medication for them however I have had to stop this medication due to not being able to afford it anymore so her new home would need to be able to keep up with her medication as without it she is very itchy, will spend hours chewing at her feet and scratching herself. Since I'm no longer able to afford her medication I feel that it is only fair she go to someone who will give her the best quality of life and can keep up with her medication. She is fully housetrained however had 2 accidents in the house when she was first settling in with me due to her being anxious with moving houses. She will let you know if she needs to go outside by scratching at the door but I always take her out before I go to sleep. Lady drinks a LOT of water a day so be prepared to be filling up her bowl constantly 😆 She is on a diet of dry and wet food at the moment with the treats every so often. She does pull on the lead quite badly and is now getting too strong for me to walk, if you are interested in her I would recommend a test walk before you take her home to see if you can handle her strength. She knows basic commands like "Sit" "Wait" "Paw" "Gentle" "Kiss" She will jump up if she gets over excited but she will listen to "Get down" in a firm voice. She will attempt to snatch food if its in your hand however it can be corrected by telling her no and she will walk away. Lady is not neutered because the vets said it was too risky to do because of her age so she does still have regular seasons, The vets say she has had 3 litters of pups in the past and will not survive having any more litters so she CANNOT be used for breeding, She is only to go to a loving home. I will only be letting her go to the perfect family or person as this is a heartbreaking decision to have to make. Please inbox me if you're interested in Lady, I will be happy to answer any questions about her. 😊 Asking for £300 to make sure she goes to the right home and isn't used for breeding. If Lady finds the perfect home we can discuss the price 🙂
