Twelve month old green cheeked conure called Milo. I’ve had home for 8 months. He dances when you sing to him blows kisses and says cheeky boy and what are you doing? He eats a complete food and loves his daily salads of kale watercress carrot mango apple grapes brocolli and cucumber. He has sunflower seeds as treats. He has gone from being very very loving to being aggressive with myself. I’ve been told it’s because he’s hit puberty and it will pass but he bites me a lot and my other half is scared of birds and won’t handle him for me. When my daughter comes and stays he’s fine with her and sits out on her shoulder or head and is nice as pie. I think he has some cage aggression cos once my daughter gets him out he’s fine. He really needs someone who understands conure psychology a bit more. I hate having to rehome him but I just can’t cope with him. He comes with a cage on a stand
