Curly - Frenchie Mix Male Puppy – Approximately 8 Weeks Old - we are not sure of the mix but a few people have Chihuahua because of those amazing ears. The biggest he weighs 2.8 kilos.
Currently being fostered in Gloucestershire in an adult home with other dogs.
These puppies, all boys, came into our care from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. Initially, we were only there to assess the conditions, but words can’t truly capture the state these poor pups were living in.
Some were so tiny and frail that it was hard to imagine a happy ending for them.
There was no question—we had to bring them all out, along with the two adult dogs, to give them a fighting chance.
Right now, they are receiving the care they so desperately needed.
We’re treating them for urine burns on their little feet, eye infections, ear mites, and worms.
They’ve started their vaccinations, and they’re now being fed high-quality food across four small meals a day.
In just a few days, the transformation has been incredible—you can already see the sparkle returning to their eyes.
Thanks to the love and dedication of their foster homes, these little ones are blossoming before our very eyes.
Their sweet and happy natures are beginning to shine through, and they’re quickly letting go of their fear.
Curly is in foster with his brothers Moe & Larry.
This is what his foster mum said about him.
Curly is the larger and more confident of these 3, his name was inspired by his short, curly Frenchie style tail.
He is bold and inquisitive, very playful and bright - he knows his name and is starting to come when you call him. His bottom wiggles as he tries to wag his tail.
He loves toys and was the first to play with a ball, he does have a talent for mischief.
He is affectionate and loves attention and being with you but hasn’t yet worked out to stay still enough for snuggles, he is much too busy playing and looking for fun.
He is a typical nibbly puppy and needs appropriate toys to prevent him chewing you.
He loves his food and takes treats nicely from your hand, travels well in the car.
Using puppy pads and starting to go in the garden. Curly’s left eye is being treated with antibiotics and seems to be improving a little, it doesn’t bother him and as far as we can tell so far, he has normal eyesight.
All 3 play together very well, Curly can boss the smaller 2 around but is good natured about it, they all sleep curled up together.
Curly is the one I think would do best on his own if there wasn’t a resident dog.

When we search for homes for our puppies, we prioritize finding people who understand the critical importance of these early weeks in a young dog’s life.
They need to have the time and knowledge to properly socialize the puppies, introduce them to the outside world, and appreciate the value of puppy classes in teaching them how to respond to their owners, even with distractions.
We do not rehome puppies to families with children under 10, as many of the puppies are very small, and we believe that households with older children can provide the time and attention they need.
Additionally, we will not place them in homes with unneutered dogs.
