Belle is a chihuahua x pug. Unfortunately her family needed to rehome her due to a change in their circumstances. She was quite timid for the first few days with us but she has become very friendly and affectionate.
She wouldn’t suit a busy noisy home, we would say her personality is more chihuahua than pug but she would be very happy in a home with someone who wanted a small companion and had lots of time to spend with her
She is now living in a foster home where she is a very happy girl.
She loves to go for a walk but most of all she loves to sit next to you and snuggle.
She travels well in the car.
She is good with children and actually was a lot less timid with children than adults when she first came.
She is currently in a home with dog savvy children age 7 and 9 who understood that she needed to settle and come to them in her own time.
She has lived with other dogs and gets along with every dog she has met. She hasn’t been introduced to cats but we can cat test if required.
All of our animals are cared for in foster homes until they find their forever homes, this gives them time to adjust if they have lived in an outdoor environment.
All of our animals come with 7 days worth of food and 5 weeks insurance from Agria Pet Insurance, as-well as lifetime Rescue Backup. Microchip transfer is completed by us.
Adoption is subject to a home check and adoption contract. In some instances an initial home check may be able to be completed via video call.
Once we have received your application someone will be in touch to discuss her and arrange a home check if you would like to proceed.
If an application is not successful on this occasion we will contact you to ask if you would like to be placed on our waiting list.
