Zulu is a nearly 4 year old female Rottweiler, she weighs approximately 30kg so is on the slightly smaller end of her breed statistics but In proportion.
Zulu can be slightly nervous with new people and requires a calm approach, she isn’t a barker and enjoys a calm quiet environment.
She would be best suited to a couple or single person who can give her lots of snuggles and one to one time, she’s not suited to young children!
She is fine with other dogs outside of the home environment but has never lived with any other animals
Reasons for rehome is I have an autistic son who is to lively for her but we have been able to manage that as he is older and can be told when to calm and remove himself from her surroundings but we have had a baby and she has been extremely anxious since he was born so we are having to keep her separate which isn’t fair on her as her having increased anxiety due to the baby also not fair on her!
She can be possessive over her meals but we worked with a behaviourist and now feed her off the floor and not in a bowl as her possession was more to the bowl then the food, she drinks fine from a bowl.
She a very loving dog needing a relaxed environment.
