Loza was found living in a rubbish bin unable to see. No idea how she had managed to survive this long and find food and protect herself.
Amira a very kind lady who helps the cats in her area picked her and got her to the vet, she’s been treated for her eyes but sadly there wasn’t a lot they could do to help her at this point and after curing her infection it was discovered she is blind.
Loza will never find adoption in Egypt. It’s likely she will stay in a very busy shelter for the rest of her life, blind cats do not do well in shelter with so much noise, dogs barking, busy streets outside, fighting cats.
Loza is incredibly affectionate and she really does love other cats when it’s just one or two it’s not too much for her.
The total costs of brining Loza to the U.K. is £400, but we ate in the process of setting up a go fund me to try and cover at least half for the adopter.
She is totally healthy now apart from her sight obviously, she’s had her blood tested, been neutered and vaccinated and is ready to travel to her forever lap, another cat for company would be perfect to teach her how to cat!
Indoor home only please unless you have a secure back garden for her.
