I’m looking to rehome Stella, an 11 month old, unspayed Cockapoo. I rehomed her from a family last year who weren’t honest about her and unfortunately she hasn’t been able to adjust to living in a busy house with children. She is anxious of people and although she’s built a great relationship with myself and my partner, she is tense around my children and will growl at times when she feels frightened. She does struggle with people coming into the house however is responding well to counter conditioning with clicker training. I am therefore looking for a quieter home without children, with people who are willing to give her the time and patience she needs. Stella previously lived with 2 other dogs but I am unsure how she is with cats. She is house trained and is managing well with training following sessions with a professional dog behaviourist. Stella is clever, has good recall and is very affectionate when she trusts, and deserves to feel relaxed and settled in the right home for her.
