Merdelaine are proud to announce a litter of 11 healthy old English sheepdog puppies from health tested parents.
Puppies themselves will also undergo BVA eye tests and BAER hearing tests, plus both puppy vaccinations, and 2 vet checks prior to leaving at over ten weeks.
Father to this litter is Louis - Vuitton aus dem Elbe urstromtel
I imported him from Belgium from a well known and well established show kennel as a puppy for his fantastic pedigree and promising show potential.
He has been shown in the UK and at crufts by myself and my son in junior handlers

She is a lovely example of the breed, however I have not shown her.

This is a repeat breeding so we know what we can expect from this litter. All of the puppies on this litter have full pigment on nose, lips and most eyes already. We are in contact with all owners from the last litter, all of which have matured into stunning dogs and can offer references.
We are a highly experienced pastoral show dog family whom all show.
We have taken many best of breeds with our dogs, including the prestigious CRUFTS BOB 2024 estrela.
The Puppies are raised in our very busy home around our 6 children, cat, farm animals and our very stable, well behaved and socialised group of adult dogs.
We are big on correct socialisation and are able to do so extensively in our house, we keep the puppies until at least ten weeks of age to ensure that they are fully vaccinated, and they have had the crucial extended period of litter socialisation alongside their mother, which gives incomparable results and aims to create a secure, balanced, dog neutral adult who is a pleasure to be around.
We are able to offer extensive backup going forwards for the life of the puppy, to include one to one training at any point, not to mention rescue backup at any age.
We are heavily involved with various breed rescues too and our experience is vast in all aspects.
Our family is nothing short of dog mad, we all show and are heavily involved in the progression and breed awareness of the breeds we have.
We have qualifications to match our hands on experience from canine nutrition to behaviour.
All of our dogs are raised on a specifically formulated raw food which contains slightly more calcium/phosphurus and vitamin D/C to support the puppies correctly than other alternatives and are able to supply or help advise you if you’d rather do it yourself.
We do not endorse any kind of kibble and would prefer our dogs are not fed extruded kibbles - If raw is not suitable then we can certainly advise you on the best cold pressed / freeze dried raw pellet equivalent (which is stored like a kibble but does not contain the nasties such as fillers or additives)
