Description
We are expecting F1 puppies around 27-28th January, waiting list is open!
F1 Maltipoos (first-generation) are always better than F2, F3, or F4 because they benefit from hybrid, making them healthier with fewer genetic issues. They have more predictable traits, like a balanced hypoallergenic coat and a friendly temperament. Later generations may have less consistent characteristics and higher risks of inherited health problems due to reduced genetic diversity.
Benefits of a Maltipoo vs. Purebred Maltese and Poodle
1. Health: Maltipoos benefit from “hybrid vigor,” reducing the risk of genetic disorders common in Maltese (e.g., White Shaker Syndrome) and Poodles (e.g., PRA).
2. Coat: Low-shedding, hypoallergenic coats combine the softness of Maltese and the curl of Poodles.
3. Size: Greater size variety (Toy or Miniature Poodle parent) offers flexibility for different lifestyles.
4. Temperament: Combines Poodle intelligence with Maltese affection, often creating a more balanced personality.
5. Adaptability: Easier to train and suited for both apartments and homes.
6. Lifespan: Similar or longer lifespan (12–15 years) due to genetic diversity.
7. Appearance: Wider range of colors and coat textures compared to solid-colored Poodles or white Maltese.
8. Popularity: Highly sought after for their mix of looks, temperament, and low-shedding coats.
