Theo is a gorgeous, friendly, pointer cross 10 month old pup who has flown from Cyprus, to find his forever home! š¾ He is from a lovely litter of 10 pups who grew up in rescue ( half of his siblings have been happily adopted in the UK )
His foster mum says he has a lovely nature and is playful but calm. His rescuer in Cyprus described him as her teddy bear. .
He is a medium size dog, weighing 17kg approx with white and ginger markings and won't grow much more. Think of a small slim Labrador type dog.
Full of curiousity for the world around him and he loves playing with toys, balls and his antler and has recently discovered playing fetch with my 14 year old son.
He is happy to take himself off and go to relax somewhere aswell for some long snoozes.
Initially he is a bit shy of people but warms up once he gets to know you. No issues with men.
Theo is good with dogs. He has been well socialised with them and is currently living with 2 young male dogs. Although he enjoys the company of four legged friends, I believe that he can be homed as an only dog too.
He sleeps through the night, downstairs in a gated utility room on a cushion bed. He is almost house trained and a clean boy.
He is not fazed by household noises such as TV, radio, hoover, drill, lawnmower and no issues with visiting people to the house and garden ( cleaner, gardener ) he might bark initially but stops after a minute.
He is left several times a day ( schools runs, shops, appointments ) and no issues. I leave him with a kong or lick mat ( enrichment toy ) and when I return he usually fast asleep. Upstairs is out of bounds and we have a gate on the stairs which he has no issue with and doesn't cry when I go upstairs so no separation anxiety.
He travels well in the car, doesn't bark or stress and is enjoying his walks. He is a fairly active boy with medium energy level but not a crazy pup. Although he doesn't pull much at all, he would benefit from some additional training due to his age but loves his treats so trainable. No fears of cars or roads either.
He really is a lovely pup with huge potential and deserves a forever home.
Theo can be adopted anywhere in the UK but is currently being fostered in Brentwood, Essex.
Full Rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue. He is microchipped, vaccinated and comes with his own pet passport.
