Meet Dobbie!
Dobbie is a truly wonderful young boy who’s already been through so much in his short life. He’s missing one of his back legs, but believe me — it doesn’t slow him down one bit! He runs, plays, and enjoys life to the fullest.
Currently in a loving foster home in Surrey, Dobbie has stolen all our hearts. I’ve thought long and hard about keeping him myself, as we absolutely adore him. He’s gentle, affectionate, and smart also gets along beautifully with all his four-legged siblings — especially one of our setter boys, whom he’s formed a special bond with. Watching them play together for hours is pure joy!
Dobbie walks beautifully on the lead and has been off-lead too. He’s amazing with every dog he meets — playful yet gentle, always knowing how to behave.
One moment that melted my heart: we met an 8-year-old boy in the park who politely asked to stroke Dobbie. Of course, I said yes — and Dobbie was perfect. He softly lifted his nose to the boy’s chin in the sweetest, gentlest gesture. It was one of those moments you wish you had a camera ready for. 😍
Dobbie is a very special boy — full of love, grace, and spirit. Whoever is lucky enough to call him theirs will gain a truly exceptional companion. ❤️
He would love to have a playmate in his home but can be an only dog with the condition that he as access to playmates.
Due to having just 3 legs he cannot be exercised extensively and will need supplements to keep the one back leg going..
And sadly he can't do stairs so application will be considered based on access too..
