Luna is about 10 months old and has been in foster for about 8 weeks. Luna is looking for a calm home, with older (teen +) children, or even an adult only home. She would be much happier with other dogs for company.
She’s a slim, medium sized girl who gets on well with the resident dogs and friendly visiting dogs too. Young children would be too much for her on a day to day basis; however little occasional visitors would be fine.
Luna could be an only dog if her human/s were home most of the time (someone working from home, retired or a stay at home parent etc.). However, if she had a doggy friend she could be left for a few hours (she's been left on occasion for 5/6 hours with her foster home's dogs, and all was well).
This beautiful girl is a very loving little lady. She has good recall in the house and garden. When she needs to go outside to toilet, she hovers by the back door, and so toilet training is coming along well.
Luna’s new family will need to be patient with her. She’s very shy with visitors and will play 'peepo' from her safe corner to see what’s going on. However once she knows you, she will give you so much love and will trust you dearly.
She LOVES playing with toys and will empty the toy basket on a nightly basis!! Oh, but it's wonderful to watch her playing. When it comes to bedtime, she sleeps well in her crate overnight.
Her ideal humans would be around a lot of the time and live in a calm environment. They would need time and patience to give her as she learns to trust them and love them. When she has formed that bond she will be the most wonderful companion for someone. Whoever you are, and wherever you are, we need to find you for Luna so she start her 'happy ever after' life with you.
